SECONDARY OPERATIONS

After wire is cut and stripped, it frequently needs additional work before it can be used. Squires has developed significant in-house capabilities in the following areas:

TINNING
Squires can dip the ends of stranded wire in solder to keep them from fraying and improve solderability. If the wire is 2.5" to 14" long, 16 to 26 gauge, and has a strip of 0.125" to 0.375", your cost will be $12.00 per 1000 ends. Please call for pricing on other sizes.

CRIMPING
Squires can customize your cut wire with many different types of terminals and connectors, including most lugs, rings, forks and fast-ons, both insulated and non-insulated. Squires has in-house tooling for many AMP, Molex and Panduit terminals, as well as modular phone plugs. Although we can't be familiar with all terminals made, we can usually process quotes in a very short time.

HARNESS/CABLES
Please give us the opportunity to quote on your cable and harness needs. Squires has become particularly adept at making simple assemblies, with or without terminals or connectors.

WIRE DYING AND STRIPING
White PVC wire can be dyed any standard color. Most PVC wire can also be striped with up to 3 colors.

COILING/PACKAGING
Long wires and cables can be difficult to handle. Let Squires efficiently coil, hank, bundle, or individually package your wires as they come off our cut/strip machines.
