REQUIREMENTS
Solve your wiring problems with Squires cut and stripped hookup wire. For general purpose wiring, we suggest UL1061 or UL1007 stranded wire.
Stranded wire with strip lengths of 0.150" or greater are normally semi-stripped, unless tinning is required. Semi-stripped refers to the insulation on the stripped end being pulled back approximately 1/2 the strip length, but left on the wire. This protects the strands from fraying during shipping and handling, yet a quick twist and pull produces a perfect end, ready for use.
Other wire styles and constructions, including Irradiated PVC (UL1429) and Teflon (UL1213/Type E) insulations are available for special applications. Most wire is also available with a a solid conductor and UL and/or CSA tags.

IS THE LOW COST ANSWER TO TIME CONSUMING WIRE PREPARATION.
Top coat lead wire is similar to regular stranded wire except that a tin
coating has been fused over the individual strands to bond the strands
together. No more frayed ends during handling and installations. No more wild
strands to cause shorts and rejections. No more sore fingers from twisting the
ends back together. Please specify wire type UL1061TOT(Tin
over Tin) when ordering Top Coat Wire.
